Machu Picchu Full Day

Machu Picchu, full day by train

The Inca city of Machu Picchu considered a sacred city in Inca times, is surrounded in its environment by the Apus (sacred mountains) as La Veronica, Pumasillo, Salkantay, Huayna Picchu, and San Gabriel, running in the valley of the Rio Willmamayu (sacred river), for its location in the jungle brow.

Machu Picchu was built during the rule of the ninth Inca, called Pachacuteq (1438 – 1472), upon the arrival of the Spanish, this place was abandoned to be protected by vegetation for over 370 years.

Discovered in July 1911 by the American explorer Hiram Bingham. Machu Picchu is a magical city that still hides many Inca treasures waiting to be discovered by the Peruvian or foreign visitors, with its temples, palaces, altars, huacas (shrines), deposits, cultivation terraces, squares, and its great mystery as a city of pilgrimage.

This tour is aimed at those tourists who want to visit and explore with us, as an archaeologist. In March 2012, I was the director of the archaeological project “Surface Investigation Project (Without Excavation). Inka Citadel of Machu Picchu”.

Wanting to share with our tourists the magic of this sacred place.
